Introduction. Professional formation of specialists of psychological and pedagogical professions is closely connected with the development of ability and readiness to actively, independently and jointly, productively and effectively resist stress. The modern level of tension, stressful character of educational relations, the multiplicity of spheres and subjects of confrontation nequire the increased the ability and readiness of future educational psychologists for professional activity in the conditions of distress, for independent and successful coping with them. The aim is to study the problem of formation and development of stress tolerance of future educational psychologists as a factor and component of their professional formation, to identify and analyze the leading components of stress tolerance of a future specialist.
