Military personnel are exposed to stressors typical of everyday life and those that arise only in combat situations. The aim of this study was to identify the components of resilience in military personnel during combat missions. This goal was achieved by examining the factor structure of resilience. Participants included 226 third-year cadets aged 19 to 28. Factor analysis revealed that a three-component model had the best explanatory power (68.34%). This model incorporates key resilience factors found in most existing resilience models. The following factors were identifi ed: “Maladaptive Avoidance and Rigid Thinking in Uncertainty” (cognitive component), “Dysfunctional Self-Regulation under Stress,” and “Emotional and Constructive Overcoming of Frustration.” The results of this study contribute to the identifi cation of resilience factors in military personnel during combat missions.
