Self-confidence as an essential component of gaining experience in social and pedagogical rehabilitation activities of the district police officer

The article deals with the problems of training cadets and students of educational organizations of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation – future district commissioners and inspectors for minors for rehabilitation activities among persons registered in the internal affairs bodies. The results of an experimental study of the attitude of future police officers to social and pedagogical rehabilitation work with citizens registered with the police are presented. The analysis of how positive professional experience affects the formation of confidence of future employees of the internal affairs bodies in their abilities when working with supervised persons is carried out. Measures are proposed to improve the preparation for this work on the basis of modern educational and methodological materials. As a concrete example of such materials, "Case studies for training law enforcement officers to carry out socio-pedagogical rehabilitation work with supervised citizens" are given.
