The relevance of the article is associated with an increase in the incidence of pneumonia in young children, due to viral infections. The article introduces the clinical options for community-acquired pneumonia in children. The relationship of the development of pneumonia in children with a respiratory infection is noted. Clinical signs of etiology and age of children with pneumonia are described. The minimization of diagnostics and the choice of alternative antibiotic therapy are substantiated. Vaccination of children is recommended for prevention.
