Web-quest as a form of manifestation of the synergistic approach in the classical education process

The article is devoted to the problem of applying information technologies in the modern education process. It is argued that new approaches are to be adopted to education. They should correspond to the latest post-nonclassical management paradigm. To review this phenomenon from the viewpoint of management philosophy, the author examines the practical experience of implementing the education course of Foreign Languages Department at the Financial University under the Government of the Russian Federation. The course in foreign languages is chosen because it is necessary to apply an interdisciplinary approach when the students complete the assignment. The paper presents goals, objectives, design and presentation features of such pedagogical method as a webquest. While completing a webquest, the economic university’s students should solve the problem by means of Internet sources which contain information in the target language. Webquest contributes to the development of important professional competence in students (information, communicative, linguistic one), provides a high level of motivation to learn. This approach is an artificial formation of uncertainty, i.e. the application of methods of post-nonclassical management paradigm.
