The purpose of the study. Assess heart rate variability in patients with cirrhosis of viral etiology of varying severity. We studied of 103 patients with liver cirrhosis (LC) of viral etiology, which were divided into 3 groups according to the severity of liver cirrhosis by criteria Child-Pugh. All study investigated heart rate variability at rest and active orthostasis using "Korveg” calculated parameters describing the activity of various parts of the autonomic nervous system. Indices of heart rate in the studied patients with cirrhosis confirmed increase in sympathetic activity and weakening of parasympathetic activity in all respects, with the sympathetic effects are amplified in the active orthostasis.
