The article is a review of the issue of the scientific journal of the St. Petersburg Theological Academy “Russian-Byzantine Herald” (2021, No. 4 (7)). It is noted that the main attention is paid to the unique phenomenon of the Russian Diaspora, the 100th anniversary of which was celebrated in 2020. The materials published in the issue cover a wide range of topics on Russian history, culture, Orthodoxy and theology in the works of Russian “first wave” emigrants, theoretical articles being successfully combined with biographical reviews. Acquaintance with the journal allows us to assert that the study of the Russian Diaspora's richest cultural and ideological heritage continues to develop today. Against the background of insufficient attention in society to the religious and philosophical heritage of the Russian post-revolutionary emigration thinkers, which is most relevant at the present time, which is a turning point in worldview, the Russian-Byzantine Herald makes a significant contribution to its disclosure for our contemporaries.
