Veterinary medicine of the Vologda region in the pre-war and Great Patriotic War years

The scientific article presents results of the practical work of the veterinary service in the Vologda region, as a large agricultural and cattle-breeding region, during the Great Patriotic War. The work gives analysis of its effectiveness in ensuring epizootic well-being and its contribution to providing food security on the front-line and rear territories.
