Video conferencing in criminal proceedings

A new understanding of how justice is administered outside the physical courtroom, collecting and comparing various legal frameworks and the experience of other countries, can provide invaluable resources for modern Russian justice. The article analyzes the advantages and disadvantages of using video conferencing in criminal proceedings. The author concludes that it is important to preserve the symbolic image of justice, which has a disciplining effect on people's consciousness in the perception of judicial power.
