Species composition and harmful effect of sunflower seeds mycobiota in the Tambov region

On the ground of many years' researches (1993-2009) there have been determined such parameters as spe-cies composition of sunflower seeds pathogens, their dispersion on the surface of seeds and harmful effect of mycobi-ota on sunflower seeds. It was determined that these parameters on the surface of both groups of sunflower seeds did not change considerably. The reproductive stage of Phomopsis pathogen was also defined. A new pathogen suppress-ing the germination capacity of sunflower seeds was described.
