Problems of the organization of tax audits in Russia

The article is devoted to the study of the practice of conducting tax audits as the main form of tax control. Based on the analysis of the legislation of the Russian Federation on taxes and fees and materials of law enforcement practice, actual problems of legal regulation of the grounds and procedure for conducting tax audits have been identified and the main directions for improving tax legislation have been identified.
