Victimization security of society in modern conditions

The article is devoted to the peculiarities of victimization of modern society in terms of its trans-formation and adaptation to the existing realities. Analyzing the data of criminal statistics we can high-light such type of crime as “distant crimes” (crimes committed at a distance from the potential victim). This type of criminal activity generates new threats of victimization in society. The relevance of the problem considered in the article is that the commission of crimes using digital technology is already an obvious fact, the number of these crimes in recent years has become widespread. The use of advances in digital technology for criminal purposes generates a new type of victimization – digital and requires new forms of victimization security.
