В статье рассматривается жизнь и деятельность религиоведа и католического священника Вильгельма Шмидта применительно к его исследованиям, связанным с изданием журнала «Антропос». Дается краткая история создания журнала, приводится список публикаций В. Шмидта в журнале «Антропос» с 1906 по 1953 годы. Кроме того, кратко излагается суть религиоведческих и антропологических идей В. Шмидта.

Wilhelm Schmidt and the founding of the journal "Anthropos"
This article discusses the life and work of the religion scholar and Catholic priest Wilhelm Schmidt, especially his research connected with the founding of the journal Anthropos. The author provides a brief history of the founding of this journal and offers a list of Schmidt’s publications in Anthropos between 1906 and 1953. In addition, the author briefly outlines the essence of Schmidt’s ideas in religious studies and anthropology.
