The article clarifies the pedagogical essence of the concept of universal learning actions, presents an analysis of the relations between the concepts of universal learning actions and general learning skills. The article proposes to use visualization of training information as a tool for the development of cognitive universal learning actions. It reveals cognitive universal learning actions, which primary school students learning algebra develop by visualizing the learning material.
