The article dwells on the merits of A. Berrére and Ch. Leland`s dictionary on English slang that deepened our knowledge about the English afroethnosublanguage genesis and usage. Compared with the dictionaries of the past this one contains a much more detailed and activated inventory of instruments and, particularly, a system of dictionary labels. Their work is a considerable step forward on the way of ethnosociolexicographing of the English afroethnosublanguage genesis and usage.
