The study is devoted to the analysis of the Nuremberg Trials and its significance forinternational criminal justice. The post-war political conjuncture determined new opportunitiesfor the development of international law. The international community realized the need to bringto justice the main Nazis of Europe, which made it possible to create the first in history “court ofnations” (Nuremberg Tribunal), created by the will of 23 member states of the United Nations. The work raises the issues of the relationship between international criminal justice and nationallegislation, as well as current problems and unresolved issues of official condemnation of Naziideology.
