Government and governance relations: priorities of Russian laws in January 1722

The article presents a brief overview of legislative acts adopted in Russia in one month - December 1722, that is, 300 years ago. The number of decrees and other documents was 21 (for comparison, there were 12 in December 1721). Such an approach based on a round date, although it bears the stamp of blamelessness in terms of the choice of the object of research, nevertheless allows a better understanding of the main trends in the development of Russian law. The author omits the description of the socio-political and socio-economic situation in the country at that time, since it was earlier (the publication on the December 1721 laws was posted in December 2022 in the Scientific Electronic Library). The source of the acts under study is the first Complete Collection of Laws of the Russian Empire (1649-1825).
