The article deals with the influence of transport services on the socio-economic development of regions. The authors emphasize the need to study the quality of motor transport services, where one of the major factors is the competition. It is noted, that the motor transport services are necessary for the regional socioeconomic development in the market conditions. Thus, the aim of any motor transport enterprise is performance and recoupment improvement, while a consumer demands appropriate services.
