The impact of digitalization and public financial support on cost management in agriculture in Azerbaijan

Free access

This article examines the impact of digitalization and subsidization on cost management in Azerbaijan's agriculture. Special attention is given to the transformation of the agricultural sector under conditions of limited land resources and increasing demographic pressure. It is shown that the implementation of digital platforms contributes to the reduction of transaction costs, enhances the transparency of financial flows, and improves resource management. It is established that a differentiated subsidy system directly affects the cost structure of agricultural producers by partially compensating expenses and stimulating the adoption of technologies. It is argued that digitalization and government support form a complementary mechanism for optimizing costs, ensuring increased efficiency and sustainable development of the agricultural sector.
