The impact of the activities of social protection institutions on solving the problems of single-parent families

The relevance of the study is due to the need to provide social protection for single-parent families, whose number is increasing in modern Russia, and their problems are becoming more complicated. The aim of the study is to substantiate the impact of the activities of social protection institutions on solving the problems of single-parent families and to develop recommendations for its improvement. The novelty of the study lies in the identification of key changes in the functioning and challenges of single-parent families under the influence of social protection institutions, leading to the conclusion regarding their constructive nature. It was found out that this work possesses the potential to alleviate many pressing issues faced by single-parent families, acting as a catalyst in resolving acute contradictions and minimizing their negative consequences. The study highlights both the successes and disadvantages of the current efforts, and offers recommendations for its development aimed at optimization.
