Influence of the Eurasian economic integration on the development of the Russian economy

The article considers the origins of integration processes and their impact on the economies of states. In particular, an attempt is being made to assess the benefits to the Russian Federation due to the accession to the Eurasian Economic Union. The characteristics of some factors that spurred the country to create this union are given.
