SummaryViolation of male reproductive function caused by electron irradiation, leading to a decrease in the proliferative activity of germ cells, as well as the development of ways to correct it are relevant.The influence of growth factors of platelet-rich leukocyte-poor plasma (LP-PRJ), which have a high regenerative ability to restore spermatogenesis, remains poorly understood.Objective of the study: immunohistochemical assessment of the proliferation of germinal epithelium after electron irradiation with a dose of 2 Gy and the administration of platelet-rich plasma. Material and methods. Wistar rats (n=135) were divided into 5 groups (conditional names): I - control, II - 2IR, III - 2IR+LP-PRP+IGF-1, IV - 2IR+LP-PRP and V - LP-PRP. In group I (n=10),rats were injected with saline solution; rats of groups II, III, IV (n=95) received a single local irradiation of the testes with electrons at a dose of 2 Gy. Group III rats were injected for 11 weeks with plasma containing a high concentration of platelets and a low concentration of leukocytes - LP-PRP in combination with recombinant human IGF-1 (2IR+LP-PRP+IGF-1), group IV rats (n=30) were injected only LP-PRP. Group V rats (n=30) received LP-DRP (without irradiation). Animals of all groups were removed from the experiment once every 2 weeks for 12 weeks. The testes were studied by histological and immunohistochemical (IHC) methods using antibodies to Ki-67, Bcl-2 and p53.Results. IHC analysis of testes after irradiation showed a shift in the proliferative-apoptotic balance towards apoptosis of germ cells: a decrease in the expression levels of Ki-67 (16.3±1.1%, P function show_eabstract() { $('#eabstract1').hide(); $('#eabstract2').show(); $('#eabstract_expand').hide(); }
