The article analyzes the impact of physical activity on a person's psychological health, examines its positive effects on the emotional state, the ability to cope with stress, as well as the prevention and treatment of depression, anxiety and emotional burnout. Special attention is paid to the mechanisms of the effects of physical exercise on the brain and nervous system, including the effects on neurotransmitters, neuroplasticity, neurogenesis and the hippocampus, as well as practical aspects of the use of physical exercise to improve the psycho-emotional background and improve the quality of life. Various types of physical activity and their specific effects on mental health are considered, as well as the relationship of physical activity with other factors of a healthy lifestyle.
