The influence of genetics on criminal behavior of a person

This article is devoted to the analysis of the influence and relationship of genetic predisposition and heredity on criminal behavior of a person. Since the beginning of the study of criminology as a science, theories have been multiplying about the causes of crime, about the influence of certain factors that push a person to commit a criminal act. Of particular interest is the theory of genetic predisposition, according to which crimes are committed in the presence of a specific "crime gene", and the genetic predisposition of some individuals to commit crimes is also recognized. The purpose of this article is to answer the question of whether genetics really affects the formation of a motive for criminal behavior in a person, and to what extent compared to other crime factors.
