Process of globalization influence on foreign language educational approaches at higher education institutions

The article is devoted to the analysis of the problem of language learning and to the different theoretical approaches to the process of learning organization. The authors point out the need to combine various traditional approaches within in the framework of the latest competence approach. The latter is supposed to comprise previous achievements as well as the novelties necessitated by globalization. Special emphasis is made on ethnocultural competence as a comparatively new aspect of language learning.
