The article discusses the possible consequences for the labor market from the introduction of artificial intelligence into the technological processes of enterprises. New technologies can not only influence the reduction of jobs, but also generate new jobs themselves. The number of new jobs created by the technologies of the Fourth Industrial Revolution is small compared to their negative impact on the labor market. In the Russian Federation, due to the emerging shortage of personnel in some industries, temporary uneven implementation in the near and medium term, social tension is not expected. Employment services need to prepare for mass retraining of laid-off workers in the future.
