The influence of emotions on self-realization of students in the educational space of the university

The article presents the results of the analysis and generalization of existing theories, views and approaches related to the emotional sphere of a person and its influence on the educational process. The features of the influence of emotions on the process of self-realization of students are highlighted, various points of view on the categorization of its components are indicated. Conclusions are made that emotions are a multicomponent phenomenon, differ in valence and intensity, as a dynamic and regulatory force play a key role in the learning processes, influencing motivation, cognitive activity, personal and social development, being the most important component of the self-realization process. It is noted that modern studies often focus on the significant positive role of negative emotional reactions in the process of self-development and self-realization of the individual, which can be indicators of internal conflicts and the need for change, ways to influence the increase in persistence, motivation, empathy and the development of communicative competence.
