The influence of parents’ emotional maturity on children’s psychological well-being

The potential mechanisms that determine the influence of the emotional maturity of parents on the well-being of children of preschool and primary school age are considered. A review of modern studies of the influence of the emotional maturity of parents on the psychological well-being of children is carried out. It is concluded that promoting the emotional development of parents and children requires creating an environment in which the following are of key importance: the emotional growth of parents, their provision of psychological support for children to learn social-emotional skills, and the practice of open and supportive communication in the family.
