To increase production volumes and marketability, it is necessary to fully use the genetic potential of the bird. One of the ways to achieve this goal is to improve the conditions of feeding, including the use of highly effective biologically active feed additives in diets. The article presents the results of a study of the effect of different doses of a complex feed additive on hematological parameters, the growth rate of ducks and the safety of their livestock. It has been established that the inclusion of a complex feed additive based on sapropel and the probiotic narine in the diets of Beijing ducks of the STAR-53 cross increases the live weight by 8.4-19.2 % compared to the control bird. The best performance was achieved in ducks fed 3 % sapropel and probiotic to the dry matter of the diet. It should also be noted that the live weight of ducks treated with sapropel at a dose of 3 % and probiotic narine 1 ml during the experimental period exceeded the control values. In the process of using a complex feed additive in different doses, by the end of the experiment, a gradual increase in the number of erythrocytes and leukocytes, hemoglobin and total calcium in the blood was established in comparison with control analogues.
