The article presents the results of studying the influence of complex treatment with extremely low frequency electromagnetic fields and microbial pesticides Vitaplan and Bactofit of carrot taproots of the Shantino, Carson and Canberra cultivars and red beet taproots of the Vodan, Ronda and Bettollo cultivars on commercial quality during storage. The objects of research were stored for 21 days at a temperature of +25±1 °C and 56 days at a temperature of +2±1 °C. As a result of the studies, it was found that at a storage temperature of +2±1 °C the yield of standard quality carrot after preliminary complex treatment with ELF EMF and the microbial pesticide Vitaplan is 11,2-11,9% higher, and at a storage temperature of +25±1 °C it is 20,8-22,8 % higher compared to control samples. For the red beet the complex treatment with ELF EMF and the microbial pesticide Bactofit allowed to increase the yield of standard produce at a temperature of +2±1 °C by 10,6-11,3% and at a temperature of +25±1 °C by 18,9-19,2% compared to control samples.
