The impact of global markets on the development of internal processes of the Russian Federation at the national and regional levels

The article considers the issues related to the influence of global processes on the Russian economy. The authors analyze the Russian economy for the period since 1993 up to2012. As a result of the analysis, the authors reveal strong dependence of the parameters ofeconomic development of the Russian Federation on the state of the world economy, includ-ing the instability of world markets. The same trend is peculiar to the regions. The authorsalso find out that the declineof the Russian economy in 2008-2009is not associated with thecrisis of the banking system only, but with the negative dynamics of global markets as well.
