The authors analyze the impact of corporate social responsibility (CSR) of business as a non-financial characteristic of a company on the financial performance of public Russian enterprises. They prove the existence of a connection between CSR, corporate governance, business value, capitalization of the enterprise and its financial performance. The most significant of them are identified, having a significant impact on the value and level of capitalization of Russian public joint-stock companies.
