The effects of the milk product with milk fat substitute on white mice

Бесплатный доступ

The article presents comparative data on the content of sterols, fatty acids and trans-isomers of fatty acids in palm oil and a milk-containing product with milk fat replacer. Their influence on the live weight gain of young white mice and the structural and functional state of organs is shown. It was found that prolonged administration of palm oil at a dose of 2 % contributed to a decrease in the gain in live weight of mice, and signs of fatty degeneration were detected in the liver and kidneys. The introduction of a milk-containing product into the diet of mice did not adversely affect the clinical and physiological state of animals, the safety of the livestock, and the morphology of organs. The increase in live weight of mice of this group did not significantly differ from control peers.
