Effect of metakaolin nanosuspension on the properties of gypsum concrete with wood filler

The article presents the study of physical and mechanical properties of concrete with gypsum binder and wood filler. The concrete is designed for internal partitions of buildings and contains nanosuspension obtained by ultrasonic dispersion of metakaolin (MKLN) in aqueous medium of superplasticizer S-3 (SP S-3). The study represents a mathematical model of the dependence of nanosuspension sedimentation stability on mass concentration of MKLN, SP S-3 and exposure duration to ultrasound. The sizes and zeta potential of nanosuspension particles are determined. It is established that the developed nanosuspension allows to increase the strength and water resistance of gypsum concrete with wood filler, as well as to reduce its water absorption.
