Conducted investigation has allowed revealing the following traits of patients with paranoid schizophrenia with severe negative symptoms: family history, predominance of inhibited traits of the character in premorbid, secondary education and absence of the family at the moment of onset of the disease. At the moment of examination, most patients have a group of disability, negative or indifferent attitude towards the work, low interest and passivity in interpersonal contacts, formation of relatively decompensating and partially decompensating levels of adaptation levels of adaptation, social withdrawal as a basic type of individual type of individual compensator-adjusted defense, destructive type of adaptation, hyperbolized or indifferent character of inner adaptive reaction and passive wait-and-see approach of the environment predominate.
