It was found that sensitization by antigens of the supernatant of the water-salt extract of the homologous brain of mature rats of the Krushinsky - Molodkina line causes destructive changes in neurons, glial cells, blood vessels and interneuronal contacts. In the cortex of the sensorimotor region, the number of hyperchromic wrinkled neurons and tissue cells increases by a factor of 5.2 compared with the control, and hyper- and hypochromic neurons by 3.9 times. The number density of gliocytes decreases by 1.2 times, and synapses by 54.5 %. At the same time, the diameter of the active contact zone (ACS) increases 2.1 times, which maintains the total length of the AZS at 100 mm² of the neuropil at the control level. Along with considerable hypertrophy of the surviving synapses, there is a lack of small and medium contacts, an increase in the relative content of synapses with high dense projections, significant hypertrophy of dendritic spines and axopsychic synapses, a 1,4-fold decrease in the ratio of the free spinic surface in the ACS.
