The influence of key parameters of the gravitational separator on the cleaning efficiency of grain from minor impurities

The results of experimental justification of key parameters of a gravitational separator for purification of grain of small impurity are given in the article. The new gravitational separator for grain purification working without use of the electric power is developed. This separator differs from all existing ones that it consists of two zigzag channels in which cascades of combs are installed. Planning of experiment by means of complete factorial experiment was made for determination of optimum parameters of a gravitational separator. To gain an impression about a geometrical image, the schedule of dependence of efficiency of purification of grain material was constructed in the Statistica 6.0. It is established that maximum efficiency of purification of grain material of 90-94% is provided at specific giving of 11-12 p. in a m. and dockage of 6-5%, and quantities of combs of 8 pieces.
