During the COVID-19 pandemic, the format of education at many universities has changed. The authors present the results of a survey of Krasnodar students. According to the survey results, the students had studied remotely from 6 months to a year. During this time, their lifestyle has changed significantly. Respondents noted the positive and negative consequences of distance learning. Half of the respondents indicated a decrease in the level of physical activity and are concerned about it. Students recognize the importance of a healthy lifestyle. However, most students prefer passive ways to maintain well-being: sleep, taking medications and vitamin preparations, proper nutrition. Only about 30 % of respondents increased their physical activity during the pandemic. Thus, the students compensated for the negative consequences of being constantly indoors and working with a computer.
