The effect of the prebiotic on the natural resistance of piglets

The weakening of the natural resistance and immunological reactivity of piglets is one of the main reasons for the spread and unfavorable course of diseases of various etiologies. The interest in immunomodulators on the part of practitioners is due to the increasing ineffectiveness of traditional methods of treating diseases and the growing resistance of pathogens to traditional medicines. Therefore, the diagnosis of immunodeficiency conditions of animals, as well as the search and development of drugs that affect the functional activity of individual parts of the immune system, is currently one of the main scientific tasks of modern science. In experiments on piglets, the optimal dose and high pharmacological efficacy of the prebiotic "Rasp" were established. After its application, the average daily increments of piglets increased by 4.1 % compared to the control. Bactericidal activity of blood serum b increased by 16.7 %, phagocytic activity of leukocytes increased by 12.9 %. Based on the conducted studies, it is recommended to introduce into the diets of piglets at the rate of 0.4 g / kg of body weight.
