According to modern studies, it is hardly possible to find a completely healthy child. The intensity of the learning process of school children is very high, which is a significant factor in weakening health and increasing the number of various abnormalities in the body. These abnormalities are caused by sedentary lifestyle, accumulation of negative emotions, resulting in such psycho-emotional changes as isolation, unbalance, overexcitation. Anxiety about the grades and expectations in the process of school education lead to increased mental stress, nervous shocks, stress at school and restrain the desire to lead an active lifestyle. This article considers the impact of the introduction of the «Culture of Health» subject on students of the 5-7th grades in the development of skills of healthy lifestyle.
