The results of studies of the effect of the immune response modifier “Vetostim” on the main immunobiological haematological parameters of poults with a medication against Newcastle disease were shown. For determination of the effect of the “Vetostim” sample on basic haematological, biochemical, immunobiological parameters of poults, as well as on specific resistance against Newcastle disease with immunization by live vaccine two groups of poults krossa BIG-6 (hundred animal units in each group) were formed, they were selected on the basis of analogues. Poults of the first group were inserted with immune response modifier “Vetostim”, the second group, with the same amount of poults, was a control group. The medication was applied twice by bottle-feeding method together with the vaccine “Aviac-NB” against Newcastle disease on the 14th and 28th day according to the manufacturer's instructions to the use of vaccines. In assessing of the intensity of immunity to Newcastle disease virus, after the application of a live vaccine in combination with the medication “Vetostim”, it was found that on the 10th day an average antibody dilution of antibodies in the test group is higher in comparison with the control group. Poults vaccinated with “Avivac-NB” combined with immune response modifier “Vetostim” have a more intense immune system that is characterized by increased blood values of T, B-lymphocytes and T-killer cells, increased functional activity of pseudoeosinophil, as well as by more intensive synthesis of antibodies to the vaccine virus of Newcastle disease. It is established beyond controversy that the count of T-, B-lymphocytes and T-killer cells, and antibody dilution against Newcastle disease of poults, vaccinated with “Avivac-NB” in combination with the immune response modifier is higher than in the group where “Vetostim” wasn’t used.
