Influence of progesterone, fre estriol on immunological indicators at women with a bronchial asthma during the period pregnancy

We have examined 83 women suffering from both mild and moderate forms of bronchial asthma, aged 19-34 years old, disease duration averages 10,3 ± 0,3 years. They have undergone complex examination including routine clinical and functional tests, immunological tests and estimation of progesterone and free estriol levels at each trimester of pregnancy. The obtained data show that balance disturbance in the system progesterone - free estriol have proved to be one of the most determining risk factors in deterioration BA course during pregnancy.
