The effect of different diets on the formation of age-related changes in adaptive reactions of the organism

Disorders in adaptive reactions leads to the accumulation of uncompensated damages and starts the process of aging. It was currently shown that immune system plays important role in the formation of age-related changes in adaptation and resistance. Therefore, it may be possible to simulate such stimuli and elicit such natural reaction of the body, which will compensate age-related “wear and tear” structures. Caloric restriction leads to normalization of lymphocyte apoptosis in the thymus of rats and increases the expression of T-cells isoform CD45RA+.
