Influence of vehicle loading regimes on the durability of elements of bearing systems

An analysis was made of the methods for estimating the life of structural elements of the bearing systems of machines. The disadvantages of these methods were revealed. A method for estimating the lifetime of structural elements based on the constancy of the total work of external forces destructing a sample, with the help of which calculations were made to determine the resource of the subframe element of a ZiU-9 trolley bus. In this case, the necessary total work is calculated from the limit of endurance of a real structural element taking into account the geometric characteristics of its cross section. An analysis was made of the influence of loading regimes on the magnitude of the work of external forces, which is summarized in the samples. The graphs were plotted on the dependence of the external forces work on the current load and speed, on speed and load, on the ratio of good asphalt to poor one. In the course of the study, to determine the approximate value of the resource, an equivalent loading regime for the structure was identified.
