The article examines the importance of the influence of the family as the main institution of education on the formation of a teenager’s personality. The positive and negative influence of the family is described, and various types of family education and their impact on the development of the personalities of adolescents are analyzed. Attention is paid to the emotional connection between parents and children and the importance of trust, support, and love in the process of education. Attention is drawn to how lack of attention, emotional coldness, and inconsistent approaches from parents can lead to problems in the psychological and social development of children.
