The work is devoted to studying the influence of mountain conditions on the systems of the human body. In mountain conditions, the body of athletes undergoes multiple changes and switches to a mode of economical consumption of oxygen and energy. Since the concentration of oxygen in the mountains is much lower than on the plain, athletes experience hypoxia, due to which the cardiovascular system bears an excessive load. To adapt to such conditions, erythropoiesis intensifies in the body, the respiratory rate and heart rate increase. Athletes experience changes in metabolism and adapt to conditions of increased atmospheric pressure and stronger ultraviolet radiation from the sun. Physical activity under such conditions develops endurance, strengthens the heart muscle and blood vessels.
