Influence of sowing dates on soybean seed quality traits

«OIL CROPS» Scientific bulletin, VNIIMK, 2006, is 2 (135). In conditions of 2005 it is established, that sowing dates in a various degree influence quality of soybean seeds depending on biological features of a variety. The most stable appeared a variety of Aldana, the most labile - variety Alba. From all investigated traits the trypsin inhibitors activity to the greatest degree reacts to sowing date, least - the protein content in grain. For all investigated varieties late sowing date (24.06.05). is undesirable for formation of seeds quality traits. In conditions of 2005 it has given decrease in oil content of seeds and oleic acid in oil. The tendency to increase in the protein content in soybean seeds early to late planting time at all investigated varieties is observed.
