Influence of sowing terms on soybean productivity and crop quality in conditions of the Tambov region

The researches conducted in 2012 and 2013 showed that the highest seed yield of soybean was obtained at sowing on May 10 - 2.04 tons per hectare, and the lowest one - at sowing on April 20 - 1.52 tons per hectare under the weather conditions of years of research. The highest oil and protein contents were also at soybean sowing on May 10 - 32.77 and 26.82 %, respectively, the lowest protein content was obtained when sowing on June 10 - 29.76 %, and oil content - at sowing on May 30 - 23.00 %.
