The article discusses the influence of the style of family education on the development of self-regulation of 6-7-year-old children. It reveals a positive influence of a harmonious style of education and a negative influence of disharmonious education on the development of children' s self-regulation. Besides, it also defines the particular features of family education that determine a low level of development of self-regulation in childhood.
