Four groups of 60 heads each were formed for carrying out the scientific and production experience: the 1st group of birds was fed with basic ration (BR) consisting of special compound feed according to the daily consumption rate and barley bran in amount of 20 % of the daily norm of compound feed; the 2nd group of birds was fed with BR +20 % of barley bran, subjected to microwave treatment; the 3rd group of birds was fed with BR+20 % of the bran of barley subjected to microwave treatment+3 % zeolite; the 4th group of birds was fed BR+20 % barley bran +3 % zeolite. Analyzing the indicators of whole experiment, we can note the increasing in a live weight of broiler chickens, where barley treated with microwave radiation + 3 % zeolite was used with the main diet.
